  • How can Top Level Web Design provide custom website design for small businesses at such a lower price than other design companies?
    Web design companies usually charge $1,000 ~ $5,000 for a basic website based on how extensive the content and features are and other factors. Top Level Web Design understands the needs and challenges of small businesses. We keep our overhead as low as possible (for example, currently we only provide email support). We strive to build long term relationship with our clients. We always try our best to meed our clients’ needs. Most of our new clients are referred by our existing clients. Our revenue is mainly from our website hosting packages.
  • How long does it take to design a website?
    There are many factors involved such as how quickly the client supplies content, revisions, approvals, etc. Basic websites tend to take 2 to 4 weeks. However, we work harder than anyone else and we guarantee your website will be up and running within 1 week.
  • What if I have already had a domain name?
    That’s totally fine. We will tell you how to direct your old domain name to our server. It is very simple to do so.
  • Do you work on e-Commerce websites?

  • Can I change the content of my website by myself?
    Yes you definitely can. A user-friendly Content Management System (CMS) is provided to manage your website content. You can easily update your website content (text and images) anytime and anywhere. No programming skills are needed to do so.
  • What is the process involved in creating a website?
    Our process is designed to be very straightforward and simple:

    • An initial email consultation is conducted to gather requirements for the project. Requirements include the goals of the project and the structure of the website (such as an outline). To get started, please submit the Online Request Form or send us the completed form via email.
    • The next phase is design. We start working on your web project upon receipt of payment for your web hosting package. In this phase, an outline of the content is used, along with your logo (if you have one) and images, to create mock-up designs of how the site might look.
    • Once a design is approved, the website is created using content/images/logo that you provide, and will be placed online for your review/approval before going “live”.
    • Next, Search Engine Optimization needs to be considered. We take a list of keyword phrases (words that people would use to find your website from a search engine), and using specialized analysis software, modify the website content to maximize search engine results and drive more traffic to your website.
    • Finally, when the website is approved and online, we provide a user guide on how to update your website content on your own.

  • Do I need to buy or learn any software or programming skills?
    Most companies will ask you to build a website yourself using complicated software or programs. With Top Level Web Design we do all the work for you! Simply send us the content you want and our team will create a custom website and communications tool to help you attract more customers and establish a professional image.
  • Do you charge any installation (set-up) fee?
    No. All of our web design packages include free website installation.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    Top Level Web Design provides an integrated solution for online payments – meaning that you can pay for your web project by using your credit card or PayPal account if you have one. For more info, please visit Payment Methods.
  • What are your payment terms?
    - Payment for the web hosting package is required in one yearly payment, on commencement of project and due before project starts.
    - All payments are non-refundable.
    - The website hosting plan is an annual subscription through PayPal. Your hosting plan will be auto-renewed every 12 months via PayPal on the due date.
  • The web design package covers the first 12 months website hosting. What happen after 12 months?
    You will receive an email notification one month before the expiry date. You have the option to renew or not renew for another 12 months.
  • What if I don’t want to renew the hosting plan after 12 months?
    If you want to move to another hosting company, you may take your domain name and the content originally provided by you. However, you will not be able to take the website design due to software copyright. You will have to ask another company to redesign a new website for you.
